Baldwin Fiberglass Lattice is engineered for those who require architectural-grade privacy solutions without the structural limitations of wood or PVC. Using the same pultrusion technology found in our heavy-duty pergolas, these panels offer an incredible strength-to-weight ratio and are guaranteed to never rot, warp, or crack under extreme environmental exposure.
Precision CNC-Notched Assembly: Unlike standard lattice that is pinned or stapled together, every Baldwin lattice member is CNC-notched at our factory for a mechanical interlock. This precision-focused approach ensures a perfect fit with zero gaps, maintaining its structural integrity for a lifetime.
Custom Spacing and Design: While typical spacings are 10 inches vertically and horizontally (creating 7" x 7" openings), we can customize the aperture to your exact privacy requirements. The lattice members consist of 2"x3" pultruded fiberglass. Panels are priced based on the linear footage of material and the required support system.
Fiberglass columns set at an angle frame the pool area, creating an architectural statement that supports three large lattice privacy panels.
Three lattice panels screen the lounge area, giving guests in their red-cushioned chairs a secluded, resort-quality retreat beside the pool.
Pultruded fiberglass columns are CNC-machined for perfect plumb and structural permanence — zero rot, zero maintenance, built for decades of outdoor exposure.
The finished colonnade and lattice system reads as a single, unified outdoor room — architecture that earns its place in any landscape.
This Connecticut homeowner wanted a welcoming lattice panel beside the front entry — designed to grow into a flowering vine display over time.
The open 7"×7" grid aperture is ideal for training climbing plants. Fiberglass never rots from moisture or organic growth — it only gets more beautiful as vines mature.
Every lattice member is CNC-notched at our factory for a mechanical interlock. Parts are laid out for inspection before bundling — precision you can see.
Parts are bundled and labeled for easy on-site assembly. The precision of our kitting means no guesswork — everything fits together exactly as designed.
0.001" CNC calibration ensures every notch, every intersection, and every joint is perfect. In an all-fiberglass system, that precision is permanent.
Pultruded fiberglass 2×8 members are hung horizontally between 10-inch square columns, creating a bold, modern screening solution unlike any traditional lattice.
Each slat is precision-cut to span between columns using CNC-notched mechanical interlock connections for structural stability without exposed fasteners.
Fiberglass never rots, warps, or requires painting. This system looks as good in year twenty as it did on installation day.
The horizontal line language of 2×8 slats creates a modern, architectural quality that complements contemporary homes and pool environments.
Slat spacing is fully adjustable to your privacy requirements. We can size every member to your exact specifications from a simple drawing or site photo.
This project demonstrates how our horizontal slat system adapts to different site conditions — the same structural platform, applied with fresh precision.
Fiberglass 2×8 members span between columns without sagging over time. Pre-cambered where needed, they deliver the same performance as a structural beam.

Kent WarkentinWow, Chris. I really appreciate your help on this effort. These plans are excellent and will definitely make my job easier. Again, thank you so much for your help. I will send you pictures when we get it all done. This pergola is the centerpiece of the Rosa Parks elementary school's outdoor classroom so it is a big deal to them that we are helping them out.
Carla AvilaHi Max- everyone loves the pergola - its really great--thank you. And the chairs are so comfortable.
Jared AsweganDear Max, It's funny what can happen when the three stooges set out to erect a pergola. While we were ultimately successful, the process was a bit dodgy. Of course, had we curtailed our enthusiasm and actually READ the instructions first, it would have gone a lot easier. What ever damage was done was easily mended thanks to wood glue, a couple of hidden screws and some touch up paint. I couldn't be happier with your fantastic work. From the beginning to the end of the process it was so easy, and I have admit, the pool area is so much improved with this addition. Absolutely PERFECT. I'll send photos next time the sun is out. Oh yeah, we built it in the rain and it only took about four and a half hours. Many MANY Thanks!
Becky HansenThanks Max. I'm glad you like the photos. We enjoyed working with you and your company even though it was long distance! We absolutely love our new outside room and so do neighbors walking by. In fact, I think I'm heading back outside now to enjoy the stars under our pergola. Take care and thanks for an outstanding product.
Carol GarintherDear Max, The pergolas look great! The addition of rope lights was the key to the whole look. Thanks again.
Jonathon SweetI just wanted to let you know that the pergola and railings are installed. Everything came out fabulous. My customers are very happy with what they have now. Thank you very much!
Elba & Edward BorgesThank you so so much for all of the perfect work that you put into our Pergola. Eddy and I love it, it is simply !BEAUTIFUL!, and looks wonderful on our patio. A great reason for wishing for Spring to arrive.
Eric BarberioAs a customer, I would highly recommend your company to others.
Found on Yelp.comhere is nowhere to buy wooden outdoor furniture of the same quality and for the same price. Nowhere! I own at least 8 pieces of Baldwin lawn furniture: two picnic tables with benches, a loveseat, two gorgeous adirondack chairs and a couple of other misc. tables and chairs by the pool. This furniture is so sturdy and dependable - and the design is fabulous! Check out their website, or sit in the furniture in person at North Cove Outfitters in Old Saybrook or at Baldwin in Middletown. You will be 100% sold. Our pieces have weathered wonderfully, and we leave them out year round. In the spring we pull them into the driveway one day and give them a good wash and put a quick restain on them. This is MINIMAL work, I assure you. And the furniture receives compliments from our guests year after year. This is a great family company with a great product. GREAT!
Pete and Susan LangSorry it has taken so long to get these pictures to you (a few years to be truthful). We love our pergola and also the furniture. It really does make the space like a room outside. Your product is fabulous. It was easy to assemble and it makes a profound difference in the space. it was a joy working with you and Cheri. We both hope you continued success in your endeavors.
